All I can say is that these two have to be about the cutest couple you could possibly come across. They just have a fun and happy demeanor to them. Samantha and Corey met during orientation at Iowa State, and are now both departing to study abroad for the next few months. Corey to New Zealand, and Samantha to So. Wales.
Corey grew up near Stillwater and we decided on doing the session there. Between the river and the main street shops, this is such a fun town to shoot in. Although we did not have to fight any rain, the 90 plus degree temps made for a slow moving evening. We started by the river and used some available shade to keep our leading couple in a melt free zone. We moved on down to one of the local boat docks/marina. We found a little bench near the dock store that made for a great place to get some images. From there, we headed to Main Street for some ice cream and street shots. It was pretty funny because Stacey headed across the street to get a couple of shots, when this guy came up and said "you should get a shot of those two lovebirds eating the ice-cream on the bench over there". Stacey's reply was "yeah, that's a great idea!". I, on the other hand, might not have played along so inconspicuosly:). We ended up finishing the night with dinner at the Freighthouse.
Needless to say, we are really looking forward to the wedding next summer. In the meantime, have fun on your travels!

We had the pleasure of shooting Justyne and Jeremy's engagement session the other weekend. As we were trying to figure out what to do, we found out this fashionable couple is interested in the arts. With the Walker under siege for "Rock The Garden", we discovered that the Stone Arch Festival of the Arts was taking place. We started there and utilized some of the fun things happening and the surrounding area, while finishing at the Guthrie.
We had a great time, and really enjoyed getting to know Justyne and Jeremy. I think one of the best things was that they were up for absolutely anything. Not only did they have fun and goofed around, but they had no problem going for something a little sexier. As Justyne said, sexy not trashy!
We hope you guys had fun and can't wait for you to see the rest of the images!
